MONDAY, FEBRUARY 27
TEQUILA & MEZCAL: Oyamel’s Tequila and Mezcal Festival runs February 27-March 12. Tonight’s Kickoff Party features more than a dozen unique tequila and mezcal tasting stations, passed bites, specialty cocktails, live music and more! (Oyamel, 6-9 p.m. $49)
JOKE STEALING: We all know imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. At StandUpComedyOke, participants will retell jokes from their favorite comedians, including Amy Schumer and George Carlin. Walk-in performers are welcome, so start practicing around the office! (The Pinch, 8-11 p.m. FREE)
BINGO: If you want to leave your evening to chance, head to Cafe Pizzaiolo for Beer & Bingo and play for prizes from Devils Backbone and Pizzaiolo. (7-9:30 p.m. FREE)
GO-GO: Panelists including Go-go’s “self proclaimed leading lady” Michelle Blackwell and Nico of Go-Go will discuss Go-Go as D.C. History. Local music journalist Marcus Dowling will use five iconic go-go songs to examine the city’s economic, political, social and cultural past. (MLK Library, 6:30 p.m., FREE)

MARDI GRAS: Celebrate Fat Tuesday with chefs David Guas and Spike Mendelsohn, and mixologist Gina Chersevani. The Mardi Gras Extravaganza at Dock 5 at Union Market will feature Southern-inspired food, drinks, and three rotating New Orleanian style bands. (Dock 5, 5-10 p.m. $65)
TASTE OF HAWAII: If you’re more interested in traveling to Kona than New Orleans, head to Basic Burger’s Taste of Aloha. The event will feature panko crusted onion rings, honey siracha drumsticks, grilled pineapple terriyaki sliders, and pineapple coconut cake pops, each paired with beers from Kona Brewing. LIVE MAGAZINE: For one night only, watch a magazine come to life. Pop-Up Magazine will feature photography, film, radio, and original music mixed together and performed live on stage. (The Lincoln Theatre, 6 p.m. $25)

LIVE SOUNDTRACK: Immerse yourself in the music and visuals of Game of Thrones. THURSDAY, MARCH 2
WHISKY: Learn from master distillers and blenders and taste more than 300 whiskies from around the world at Whiskey Fest 2017. And soak it all up at “the never-ending gourmet buffet.” (Marriott Marquis D.C., 6:30 p.m. $275)
HOCKEY: The Caps won’t be the only ones to watch on the ice in the region. At the Congressional Hockey Challenge’s annual ice hockey game, federal lawmakers, congressional staff, and administration officials will face off against lobbyists representing a broad array of interests. This friendly, fast-paced competition has raised over $850,000 for charities since 2009. (Kettler Capitals Iceplex, 7 p.m. $10)
COMEDY: Brad Williams is bringing his “anything goes” attitude to the District. This comedic drawf, who has been featured on Comedy Central and Showtime, will bring big laughs to the city in a four-night run. (DC Improv, 7:30 p.m. $20)
