A few weeks ago, restaurants and their staff in D.C. joined other businesses in marking “A Day Without Immigrants”—a public rebuke of President Donald Trump’s policies. Tomorrow, many members of the community will participate in “A Day Without A Woman,” a movement orchestrated by the organizers of the Women’s March.
They are calling for people to wear red, refrain from paid and unpaid work, and avoid spending money.
The following area restaurants have announced they’ll observe “A Day Without A Woman” in some way. We’ll update this list as more information becomes available.
