In her return to the speaking circuit, Hillary Clinton is making an appearance at Georgetown University on Friday.

She will present four people with honors at an annual awards ceremony at the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security, according to a release from the college. The former secretary of state will talk about “the important role that women can play in international politics and peace building efforts.”

Clinton is the honorary founding chair of the institute. Each year, it hosts the Hillary Rodham Clinton awards to recognize women who are working to create “a more peaceful and secure world.” On Friday, she’ll give awards to three women and a man from Colombia who helped to secure last year’s Colombian peace agreement.

After spending most of her post-election months close to her Chappaqua, New York home, Clinton told a crowd in Scranton, Pennsylvania on St. Patrick’s Day that she’s “ready to come out of the woods and to help shine a light on what is already happening around kitchen tables, at dinners like this, to help draw strength that will enable everybody to keep going,” USA Today reported.

In May, she’s slated to deliver the commencement address at her alma mater, Wellesley College. She’s also writing a book of essays that’s scheduled to be published in the fall.

Her speaking engagement at Georgetown is open to GU students, faculty, and staff who can line up for tickets on Friday morning.
