One of DC’s largest celebrations of international cinema is coming your way May 17-28, and the 27th WJFF brings to town a who’s who of celebrity talent alongside a bumper crop of the hottest up-and-coming indie film stars, in-depth panels, Q&As, parties, and more.

The festival brings in over 60 international filmmakers, headlined by luminaries Amy Heckerling (Clueless, Fast Times at Ridgemont High), Barry Levinson (Rain Man, Good Morning, Vietnam), and Agnieszka Holland (Europa Europa, In Darkness).

AROUND THE GLOBE
WJFF features the best in contemporary cinema from 25 countries! Visit Ghana, France, Romania, and Tunisia – popcorn in hand, head reclined, and mind ablaze.

BEYOND THE SCREEN
Come for the films, stay for the top-notch discussions. In addition to scores of intimate Q&As with independent filmmakers, the Festival host its 7th Annual Community Day of Education on Arab Citizens of Israel, a presentation on Polish legend Wojciech Has, and an evening exploring Yiddish culture.
