In a power move, a neighboring establishment to the forthcoming Game of Thrones pop-up bar is capitalizing on the line of captives that is about to snake up 7th Street NW.

Drift on 7th (previously known as Fishnet) says it will offer an array of “easy-to-eat apps” that are not-at-all coincidentally Game of Thrones-themed.

The official Game of Thrones Pop-Up Bar opens on Wednesday and runs through August 27 at the three bars once known as Mockingbird Hill, Southern Efficiency, and Eat the Rich. It is the latest elaborate drinking experience from the visionary team behind the Cherry Blossom Bar, the Stranger Things-themed pop-up, and the pop-up that started it all, the Miracle on 7th Street holiday bar.

Popular restaurants have been fostering secondary economies for a while now, with the bars around Rose’s Luxury, for example, seeing a noted boost in business thanks to the no reservations policy, not to mention the booming business of professional line-standers.

The Shaw seafood restaurant is taking it to another level (though they aren’t the first to see a line and smell opportunity). The idea is that people will be waiting a while for a wildly popular experience (we’re hazarding a not-so-wild guess, anyway), and Drift will try to pick them off—and return them directly to the line.

They are promising their own slate of punny food and drinks, among them:
“King of the North Mussels,” “Decary’s Wing” (read: chicken wings), “Drinklage Shot,” “Lannister Gold Corn” (crazy corn), and “Children of the Forrest & Dragons” (a variant on one of their dishes, Tots and Tentacles).

Line standers/would-be Drift diners will have the option of either ordering for take out, or dining in and having some sucker hold their place on line.
