Kendrick Lamar is opening a pop-up shop for a single day in Georgetown at the end of the month when he stops to perform at the Verizon Center on his The DAMN. Tour with fellow rappers Travis Scott and D.R.A.M.
Few details are available for now, but we know the popup will be open on July 21 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Ubiq, an apparel store located at 3214 M St. NW. The store manager for this Ubiq location John Cogan told the Washington Business Journal he does not know specifically what merchandise will be available for sale, but thinks there will be hoodies, tees, and hats. It is likely to include items from Lamar’s collection with Top Dawg Apparel. Cogan says the store has already received calls and drop-ins from interested customers and expects to be busy that day.
The rapper teased his followers about the pop-up on Twitter Friday with a link to his shop but didn’t offer many specifics.
In total, he’ll be doing 15 pop-ups at cities along the tour; the first will be on July 14 in Dallas.
