Stephen Miller is a senior White House adviser who helped devise the travel ban and is currently under consideration to be the new communications director, after his bravura performance disavowing the poem under the Statue of Liberty.
The 31-year-old is also a property owner in the District. The Washington Post reports that he purchased a two-bedroom condo for $973,000 at CityCenterDC, the luxury complex by Chinatown that includes more than 30 high-end retailers like Louis Vuitton and Gucci. He pays almost $1,800 (!!) in monthly condo fees.
Other politicians who’ve purchased property at CityCenter include former Attorney General Eric Holder and Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill. When Miller bought it in 2014, he was working in the Senate for Jeff Sessions, who has since become the attorney general.
And while The Post implies that it’s hypocritical for Miller, who accused CNN reporter Jim Acosta of “cosmopolitan bias” in what was surely meant as a dig during a press conference last week, to live amidst the urbane offerings at CityCenterDC, where the hell else did you expect Miller to live?
