Lawnmower man has some competition. Meet lawnmower boy, otherwise known as Frank Giaccio.
He spent the morning cutting the White House grass after writing to the president over the summer offering his services.
No less than President Donald Trump himself came out to greet him as he tended to the Rose Garden’s grass. Frank was so intent on the job, though, that he kept going even as the president came out to greet him, leaving Trump shouting “great job” and tailing behind the 11-year-old and his red push mower for a good minute.

Giaccio runs his own landscaping business out in Falls Church, Virginia, called FX Mowing. In a letter to Trump, he said “it would be my honor to mow the White House lawn some weekend for you. Even though I’m only 10, I’d like to show the nation what young people like me are ready for. I admire your business background and have started my own business.”
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders read the letter to press in early August and invited Frank to check out the grounds. He got his wish today.
“I always wanted to do something big and so I was like, ‘Why don’t we just start here?’ This seems like the perfect example,” Frank told CNN.
Normally he charges $8, but he waived the free this time around.
