D.C. police arrested a court-ordered mentor who they say picked up a District girl from her home in Southeast and drove her to his residence in Charles County, Md. to have sex on several occasions.

28-year-old Andrew Brooks picked up the 14-year-old girl multiple times from her home in the 3500 block of Minnesota Avenue SE between July and August, according to a police report. Brooks resides in Indian Head, Maryland, about 30 miles away.

Brooks and the girl engaged in sexual intercourse at his home, according to the police report.

Police arrested Brooks outside of the girl’s home on Wednesday and charged him with transportation with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity.
