British electronic duo Gorgon City get back to basics on their Kingdom tour, forgoing live instrumentation for a DJ set at Soundcheck. Doors 10 p.m. $25.

A pair of DIY labels—D.C.’s Babe City and Richmond’s Citrus City—team up for an eclectic showcase at Comet Ping Pong that features the Sea Life, Crumb, Yung Pocket$ and Alfred, and “secret” Babe City band Golden Papo & The Mamas. Doors 10 p.m. $12. All ages, accessible venue.

Against Me! returns to the 9:30 Club, promising a set that features songs from last year’s Shape Shift with Me alongside the rest of the band’s decade-plus discography. Tokimonsta has been at the forefront of the hip-hop-meets-electronic beat scene for nearly a decade, but her new album Lune Rouge is her most impressive work yet. In 2015, she was diagnosed with a rare brain disease, and after two surgeries, she had to relearn how to walk, talk, and make music. She comes to U Hall with fellow travelers Kami and Mozado. D.C. psych rock band Nah. headline at the Rock & Roll Hotel with hometown compatriots Fellowcraft and Cosmic Romp. Doors 7 p.m. $12. All ages, accessible venue.
