After 21 years, D.C. United is moving out of historic, decrepit RFK Stadium and into its own digs at Audi Field, the city’s new soccer-specific stadium—and you’d better believe the team has fancy new food to match. New custom concessions concepts from chef José Andrés’ ThinkFoodGroup means that the star power in the stands rivals Wayne Rooney’s star power on the field.

On Thursday, the company shared its new food options available at Audi Field: La Pepa and Butterfly Tacos y Tortas. Three food carts will also roam the stadium serving up snacks.

Audi Field is ThinkFoodGroup’s first multi-concept stadium project, and allows the brand usually known for higher-end spots like Zaytinya and minibar to bring fast-casual concepts to a larger audience, at a price range of $7-$15 per item.

The team told DCist that the menus “were designed to be hand-held and easy to eat.”

The sister spot to ThinkFoodGroup’s food truck Pepe, La Pepa’s two concession stands will serve up sandwiches made with Pan de Cristal, a crispy Spanish bread. A La Pepa cart will sell jamón flautas and pressed sandwiches all over the stadium.

“When designing the menu, we wanted to stay authentic to our roots and bring D.C. United fans something different from the expected stadium food,” Nicolas Lopez, the research and development chef at ThinkFoodGroup, wrote to DCist. “The Serano Manchego sandwich made with Pan de Cristal is one of my favorites. It’s not messy, it’s thin and easy to eat, and, of course, it’s delicious.”

Butterfly Tacos y Tortas’ menu, based off Andrés’ 7th Street NW Mexican-inspired restaurant Oyamel, will feature a variety of tacos and tortas.

Options include the Hongos Taco with grilled wild mushrooms topped with serrano pepper salsa and fresh cilantro, and the Milanesa de Pollo con Chipotle torta, stuffed with crispy breaded chicken breast, beans, Oaxaca cheese, and avocado. There’s also a twist on french fries: Butterfly’s come smothered in mole sauce. Beer and a speciality cocktail will also be available.

In addition to the concession stand, there will be two portable Butterfly Tacos y Tortas carts: one serving guacamole and chips, the other slinging Mexican street corn.

Audi Field will host outposts from other D.C. spots, as well, including Arepa Zone.
