Collectively, D.C. is roughly on its trillionth mosquito bite of the summer. They’re everywhere, buzzing in houses and ruining people’s pleasant outdoor patio dinners.

Now, we know that only two cities have got it worse than us, at least according to a new ranking by the pest-control company Terminix: Dallas-Forth Worth, and New York City. Those two cities were the first and second top mosquito cities in the country, followed closely by Washington.

Terminix calculated its ranking based on how many mosquito services customers in those cities requested in the last year. It’s less than scientific, but the ranking seems reasonable enough: earlier this year, another pest-control company, Orkin, named D.C. the fourth top mosquito city, after Atlanta, Dallas-Forth Worth, and New York.

If you’re looking to minimize your mosquito damage this summer, clear any and all standing water: a female can lay up to 100 eggs in a bottle cap full of water. Also, be advised: West Nile has been found in mosquitoes in both Maryland and Virginia.

Here are the top ten mosquito cities, according to Terminix:

1. Dallas-Fort Worth
2. New York City
3. Washington, D.C.
4. Houston
5. Los Angeles
6. Atlanta
7. Philadelphia
8. Memphis, Tenn.
9. Chicago
10. Baltimore
