Learn about food that’s out of this world
We all know about Dippin’ Dots, but have you ever wondered what else astronauts chow down on when they’re orbiting above the Earth? At (g)Astronomy on Tap, you’ll learn about space food, with talks from Smithsonian Air and Space Museum curator Valerie Neal, Christie Cox, a research manager for NASA, and others who can give you all the details about outer space feasts. There will also be bingo and trivia, and afterwards, head to the roof of DC9 for some stargazing. (DC9, Wednesday, 8 p.m., $10, 21+)
