Labor Day is here, and that means the chance to advantage of the long weekend with an extra day of Washington’s favorite meal—brunch. There’s a healthy lot of options to pick from this year, including unlimited crab feasts and discounted mimosa bars for anyone feeling crafty. Here are 10 picks to choose from come Monday.

Anxo Cidery and pinxtos bar

Bottomless craft cider will flow an extra day this weekend at Anxo’s Truxton location. The $25 drink package includes three options, one of which is the cidery’s refreshing cidre blanc. Basque-style pinxtos, sandwiches, and brunch plates round out the offerings. (300 Florida Ave. NW, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

All-Purpose Capitol Riverfront

Take a trip down to the Navy Yard and feast on Italian-inspired dishes like crispy fried mozzarella cheese and a baked egg and sausage skillet. Two special brunch pizzas will be available too, including the Barney Greengrass topped with smoked salmon and whipped ricotta. The Bird

This poultry-centric kitchen is welcoming September with four days of brunch specials, highlighted by $15 bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys. Dig in to plates of biscuits and gravy, breakfast tacos filled with juicy grilled chicken thigh and scrambled eggs, and more. Boundary Stone

Comforting brunch dishes at this neighborhood pub will ease any Labor Day hangovers. Plates includes short rib hash, steak and eggs, huevos rancheros, and the hearty full stone English-style breakfast. (116 Rhode Island Ave. NW, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.)

Brookland’s Finest

Smoke is the theme of Labor Day brunch at Brookland’s Finest. The restaurant is teaming up with the barbecue minds at Sloppy Mama’s for both a dinner and brunch menu fit for the end of summer. The $35 prix-fixe deal comes with a smoked rock shrimp salad, prime rib with creamed spinach and mashed potatoes and rounds out with a smoked cheesecake. (3126 12th St. NE, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.)

Boqueria

Come for the brunch tapas and stay for the free-flowing sangria at this Dupont Circle Spanish spot. The $39 all-inclusive feast is packed with choices that range from grilled shrimp with garlic and brandy to seared lamb skewers or creamy croquettes. Finish off with an order of sweet and chocolatey churros. (1837 M St. NW, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.)

City Tap House, Penn Quarter

Seafood—crab, specifically—is the highlight of City Tap’s Penn Quarter annual Labor Day party. Guests can chow down on unlimited crabs for $50 a person in addition to corn on the cob and potato salad. The a la carte menu will be offered for those who prefer a more traditional meal. Drinks include $10 adult juice boxes and a $15 DIY bottomless shandy bar. (901 9th St. NW, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.)

Momofuku CCDC

Instead of eggs, hit up the last day of Momofuku CCDC’s summer “Seafood Shack” patio menu. Chef Tae Strain will be cooking up seafood by the pound, including peel and eat shrimp ($17), Maryland crabs ($31), and mussels ($13). Combination platters, sides, and drinks are available too, including $3.50 cans and $13 pitchers of Natty Boh. (1090 I St. NW, 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.)

Pennsylvania 6

Plenty of brunch spots offering all-you-can-drink boozy beverages, and Pennsylvania 6 ups the game with a $15 menu of bottomless slider sandwiches. Come by on Monday to take advantage of endless chicken salad, buger and pulled pork sliders. Unconventional Diner

Though still relatively new on the scene, Unconventional Diner is a becoming a D.C. favorite for its re-invented and elevated comfort food. Brunch offerings take up that vision with items like blueberry pancakes with lavender and candied lemon, chickpea shakshuka, and tikka masala Brussels sprouts with fried eggs.
