After months of pervasive service disruptions, this weekend Metro has finally gotten itself together (more or less).
There’s only minor track work and small tweaks in the schedule: the Red Line will be running every nine to 18 minutes to allow for rail, tie, and fastener renewal; the Blue Line is running every 20 minutes to accommodate some grout pad renewal; and the Yellow Line is running every 20 minutes, and only going to Mount Vernon Square, to account for more grout pad renewal.
Every other line is…running regular service. Are we dreaming?
