All Things Go Fall Classic, the annual D.C. music festival, has dropped pop singer BØRNS as a headliner after reports of sexual misconduct and predatory behavior surfaced last week.

“BØRNS will no longer be performing at the 2018 All Things Go Fall Classic,” a festival spokesperson said in a statement on Friday. “We hope, in all years and especially this one, that the Fall Classic continues to be part of making the music world a better, more equal place. Please stay tuned for scheduling updates and more announcements.”

The two-day festival will take place October 6-7 at Union Market.

Three Twitter users came forward recently with accounts of sexual misconduct and “grooming” of teenage girls by the pop star, whose real name is Garrett Borns, Pitchfork reported.

The singer denied the allegations on Instagram.

“I am both hurt and angered over the disturbing and false allegations that have been spread over the past few days on social media,” Borns wrote. “All of the relationships I have had were legal and consensual. They ended abruptly and that obviously caused hurt feelings, but for anyone to suggest anything beyond that is irresponsible.”

All Things Go’s organizers made a concerted effort to showcase a more diverse group of performers this year, dedicating one of the two days to all women and gender non-binary artists. That lineup was curated by Maggie Rogers and Lizzy Plapinger, known as LPX and lead vocalist of MS MR.

The festival has also partnered with the Women’s March for their national voter registration and mobilization effort, Power to the Poll.

Headliners include Maggie Rogers and Carly Rae Jepsen, and Misterwives was also just added to the lineup. Other artists slated to play include Billie Eilish, Jessie Reyez, Ravyn Lenae, Betty Who and the Aces.
