Try your hand at flower arranging, check out some new music, and go to town on some pumpkins this week.
MONDAY, OCTOBER 15
FLOWERS AND FLOUR: Perfect the art of floral arranging at Logan Circle Milk Bar Clubhouse with UrbanStems. In a class led by Cameron Hardesty, UrbanStems head of products and Cecilia Tran, floral products lead, learn the basics, from pairings to color palettes. Plus, take home a vase and bouquet and dine on Milk Bar delights. (Milk Bar Logan Circle, 6:30 p.m., $45)
SKOL: It’s the final day to see the world’s largest operational Viking ship, the Draken Harald Hårfagre, at the Wharf. A photo and video exhibit of Viking history is free to explore, and you can also reserve a deck tour of the ship for $12 ($6 for kids). (The Wharf, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., FREE)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SONGBYRD: Songbyrd Music House & Record Café celebrates three years of intimate concerts, coffee, and cocktails with a jam session featuring a surprise lineup of D.C. musicians. (Songbyrd, doors 7 p.m., show 8 p.m., FREE)

NEW ERA BOY BAND: Last month, 14-member hip-hop boyband Brockhampton followed up its Saturation trilogy of albums with Iridescence. The group’s first major label record, it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. At The Anthem, expect a high-energy set from the group that has its origins in an online Kanye West forum. OVER THE TOP ROPE: Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live marks the 1000th episode of the longrunning wrestling program. If you’ve missed the past decade or two, it’s a chance to catch up as Triple H, Ric Flair, and The Undertaker return. (Capital One Arena, 7:30 p.m., $20-$115+)

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 17
TRANSATLANTICISM: Seth Cohen’s favorite band Death Cab for Cutie released its ninth record, Thank You for Today, back in August. Expect an album-spanning set The group, which recently performed Transatlanticism in full to celebrate the record’s 15th anniversary, is likely to deliver a career-spanning set at The Anthem. Charly Bliss opens with the sugary-yet-sharp bubblegum pop it perfected on Guppy. (The Anthem, doors 6:30 p.m., show 8 p.m., $55-$95)
PURPLE NIGHT OUT: National Domestic Violence Awareness Month continues all October long. In observance of Purple Thursday, the DC Coalition Against Domestic Violence encourages all to wear purple in honor of victims and survivors. Make a donation at Vinoteca for its Purple Night Out and you’ll get access to happy hour prices and raffle tickets. (Vinoteca, 5 p.m., $15)
