This weekend, Metro should be running close to schedule during daytime hours, but don’t count on it for nighttime plans.
On the Orange, Silver, and Blue lines, expect regular service during the day, but from 10 p.m. to close, multiple stations will be single tracking and trains will be running every 26 minutes.
Same deal on the Yellow Line: regular service until 10 p.m. this weekend, then trains will run every 26 minutes until close.
On Saturday, the Red Line will be running 18 minutes between Shady Grove and Glenmont. On Sunday, Red Line trains will operate with regular service until 10 p.m., when they’ll run every 18 minutes.
The Green Line will run with regular service the entire weekend.

Saturday – trains operate every 18 minutes between Shady Grove & Glenmont with additional trains between Farragut North and Silver Spring during daytime hours.
Sunday – trains operate regular service from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and every 18 minutes after 10:00 p.m.
Single tracking between Van Ness and Friendship Heights to allow for joint elimination and rail/tie/fastener renewal.
Orange Line
Regular weekend service during daytime hours, 26 minutes after 10:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 p.m. until close, single tracking between Foggy Bottom and Clarendon to allow for installation of cable/communication equipment to support cellular service in tunnels and new radio system.
Silver Line
Regular weekend service during daytime hours, 26 minutes after 10:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 p.m. until close, Silver Line trains operate every 26 minutes between Wiehle-Reston East and Ballston only to accommodate rebuilding on the Orange and Blue lines.
Customers traveling to/from other stations should use Orange and/or Blue line trains to complete their trip. At Ballston, transfer between Silver and Orange line trains on the same platform.
Blue Line
Regular weekend service during daytime hours, 26 minutes after 10:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 p.m. until close, single tracking between Foggy Bottom and Arlington Cemetery to allow for installation of cable/communication equipment to support cellular service in tunnels and new radio system.
On Sunday;
Additional Blue Line trains will operate between Franconia-Springfield and Stadium-Armory from 6 a.m. until 9 a.m. and from 11:15 a.m. until 4:15 p.m.
Arlington Cemetery Station will be closed until approximately 8:30 a.m.
Yellow Line
Regular weekend service during daytime hours, 26 minutes after 10:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 p.m. until close, Yellow Line trains will operate every 26 minutes between Huntington and Mt Vernon Sq to accommodate rebuilding on the Blue line. Customers traveling to/from stations north of Mt Vernon Sq should use the Green Line to complete their trip.
On Sunday, additional Yellow Line trains will operate between Huntington and Mt Vernon Sq from 6 a.m. until 9 a.m.
Green Line
