If you’re looking to use Metro over the weekend, we’ve got some good news for you. The Yellow line is (mostly) back! And that’s not all—most Metro lines will be running according to schedule this weekend.

The Red Line will run every 9 to 18 minutes, with more frequent service between Farragut North and Silver Spring stations during the daytime. There will be single tracking between the Van Ness and Friendship Heights stations.

The Orange, Silver, and Green lines will all run with regular weekend service.

On Saturday, both the Blue and Yellow lines will have regular weekend service. On Sunday, the two lines will have service every 20 minutes. From 10 p.m. on Saturday until the system closes on Sunday, there will be single tracking between the two lines in between Pentagon City and National Airport stations. Also, Yellow Line trains will not go further north than Mount Vernon Square, so riders will need to take the Green Line to finish their journeys.
