Nearly every line on Metro is running slow this weekend, so keep that in mind if you’ve still got some shopping left to do and plan to take public transit.

The Orange, Silver, and Blue lines are all running 20 minutes apart, and a majority of the Silver Line will be closed down—it’s only running from Wiehle-Reston East to Ballston. You can transfer onto the Orange Line at Ballston if you’re going further along the line.

The Red Line is also running slow, particularly between Shady Grove and Glenmont (every 18 minutes). It will run every nine minutes between Farragut North and Silver Spring.

The Yellow and Green lines are running normal weekend service with no track work. Here’s more from Metro:

Red Line

Trains every 9-18 minutes

Red Line trains will operate every 18 minutes between Shady Grove and Glenmont with more frequent service (every 9 minutes) between Farragut North and Silver Spring during daytime hours.

Single tracking between Van Ness and Friendship Heights to allow for rail renewal.

Orange Line

Trains every 20 minutes

Single tracking between Smithsonian and Federal Center SW to allow for rail, fastener and insulator renewal.

Silver Line

Trains every 20 minutes

Silver Line trains will operate between Wiehle-Reston East and Ballston only. Customers traveling to/from other stations should use Orange and/or Blue line trains to complete their trip. At Ballston, transfer between Silver and Orange line trains on the same platform.

Blue Line

Trains every 20 minutes

Single tracking between Smithsonian and Federal Center SW to allow for rail, fastener and insulator renewal.

Yellow Line

Green Line
