Police are searching for a suspect that rammed a stolen U-Haul truck into a T-Mobile store in Fort Lincoln around 2 a.m. on Friday, then made off with the store’s safe.

In the wee hours of the morning, D.C. police officers responded to a burglary alarm on the scene. When they arrived, they found the U-Haul truck smashed into the back of the building and still running, according to an incident report from the Metropolitan Police Department.

Some of the store’s glass windows and wall beams were totally destroyed.
