Reflect on the lives of Native Americans during Women’s History Month 

The National Museum of the American Indian will host ‘The REDress Project’ for the first time starting Friday, Mar. 1 at 10 a.m. In her installation The REDress Project, Metis artist Jamie Black uses empty red dresses to symbolize the gendered and racialized nature of violent crimes against Native American women. The piece is on view now outdoors at the National Museum of the American Indian to commemorate Women’s History Month.
