Hold onto your hats—Hamilton is coming back to the Kennedy Center Opera House next year.
The center—which also gave Hamilton’s creators a special award at the Kennedy Center Honors last year—announced its 2019-2020 theater season in a release on Thursday, and at the very bottom of the list (but the very top of everyone’s minds) is the production that sent Washingtonians into a frenzy last summer during its first 14-week run in the city. The general consensus about that show? It was very good.
But if you weren’t quite ready to drop four-figures on orchestra seats, you’ve still got a chance. The show will run from June 16 to September 20 at the Kennedy Center Opera House in 2020. Single tickets will go on sale next spring, with a limit of eight tickets per order. Pricing information is forthcoming. If you’d rather take your chances for cheap tickets, the production’s lottery for a shot at winning $10 orchestra seats will return next year.
