Singers, rappers, dancers, and proficient pose-strikers can audition for “Hamilton” in D.C.

If you’re one of the people who’s listened to the dizzying raps and impossibly high high notes of Hamilton and thought “Pssh, I could totally do that,” now’s your chance: The musical will hold auditions in D.C.

New York- and Los Angeles-based casting company Telsey + Company posted the details Tuesday. The casting doesn’t just appear to be for the musical’s second stop in D.C. next summer. The show is seeking performers for its productions in Chicago and New York, and on tour. The team is seeking “great singers/rappers” of all ethnicities. Both members and nonmembers of Actors Equity, the labor union for stage actors, are welcome.

Want to take a shot (ugh, sorry)? Email a photo and your resume to casting@hamiltonbroadway.com with the subject line “DC AUDITIONS” and wait for it (a callback) (again, sorry). You have until Friday to send in your application.

Telsey + Company didn’t respond to our questions about the audition process, but information about auditioning via video on the musical’s website might provide some clues. Those auditioners are asked to prepare a video of themselves singing any short pop or rock song and performing a short rap, both with piano accompaniment.

If you don’t get a callback, you’re not totally helpless (you know what? Not sorry about it anymore). At least you can try for cheap tickets to the Kennedy Center’s show in 2020 via the daily lottery.
