Does D.C. look a little more … stylish today? There’s a good reason: Four-fifths of the Queer Eye guys are in the District this week, and have been documenting their visit on social media, naturally.
The day after headlining a panel at the Library of Congress, four of the Fab Five (Jonathan Van Ness, Bobby Berk, Tan France, and Antoni Porowski) took in D.C.’s biggest celebrities of the moment: the cherry blossoms at the National Mall and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Host and stylist Van Ness—who just a few months ago hobnobbed with D.C. Attorney General Karl Racine on his podcast—posted a video strolling down the halls of the Capitol building with the Democratic Congresswoman, in matching pink ensembles.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi joined the party:
Queer Eye’s interior designer Berk might be the one to thank for this meeting of the minds. Earlier this week, he offered to swing by AOC’s office to redecorate. “I see her office as looking like Olivia Pope’s place: something chic and modern but also highly functional,” Berk told Architectural Digest. “I know she works long hours, so I’d want it to be a place that she loves coming to and feels comfortable in.” When they weren’t discussing paint swatches, probably, they took plenty of selfies.
The gang also visited the cherry blossoms, and naturally found ideal light. Food expert Porowski chose to stage his shot by the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial.
France, the show’s stylist, called D.C. “stunning” in his Instagram post.

Earlier in the week, the hosts also stopped by FOX 5, where they took a stab at playing meteorologists.

The rest of the group’s D.C. schedule remains unclear, but in case they’re free, Brandi Holtby—wife of Capitals player Braden Holtby—has offered them tickets to tonight’s Caps game.

Meanwhile, the missing host, culture expert Karamo Brown, appears to be at home watching Queer Eye, if his tweets are any indication.
