Easter is this weekend, which means there are plenty of opportunities for eggs—both on your brunch plate and hidden for kids to hunt down. Here are a few spots around town offering special events for kids and grown-ups alike.
Bresca

Centrolina

This Italian restaurant’s Easter menu includes fare for appetites big and small. For those who are just looking for a small bite, the menu includes an entire section just for “la pasticceria,” or pastries. If a pesto morning bun or chocolate espresso scone won’t feed an appetite, there will also be larger dishes such as duck leg confit with braised swiss chard, and roasted leg of lamb with ratatouille and eggplant yogurt. City Winery DC

Wine and candy fanatics alike can head to City Winery for an Easter candy and wine pairing night. If you’ve ever wondered how jelly beans, chocolate bunnies and marshmallow Peeps pair with various wines, this event is for you. (Monday, 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m., $35)
The Colonnade

The Fairmont Hotel’s restaurant The Colonnade in Georgetown is hosting Easter brunch in the courtyard. Feast on a seafood display featuring jumbo prawns and crab claws, and snack on a cheese and charcuterie board and specialty salads. Kids can partake in an Easter egg hunt, and the Easter Bunny will also be available to play and take photos. (Sunday, 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m., $95 each, kids 5-12 $40)
Dyllan’s Raw Bar

This Georgetown seafood restaurant’s Easter menu includes a shellfish omelet and a smoked salmon plate, with milk chocolate Easter egg creme brulee for dessert. In addition, sip on cocktails specials such as the Hell Hath No Fury, made with housemade habanero bloody mix and salmon candy. Keep an eye out for the Easter Bunny, who’s expected to stop by and deliver candy to kids. (Sunday, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m., a la carte)
Gravitas

On offer at this Ivy City spot: a family-style brunch that includes herb-crusted lamb chops with red wine sauce and brown sugar glazed baby carrots, plus a rhubard torte for dessert. (Sunday, 11:30 am.-4:30 p.m., $50 each, kids 12 and under $25)
Iron Gate

Iron Gate will be hosting a “family table” for Easter. The three-course meal includes homemade focaccia, rock shrimp arancini, roasted lamb, and lemon-ricotta fritters, among other dishes. (Sunday, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., $40)
The Line
1770 Euclid St. NW
The restaurants inside The Line hotel will be celebrating all day on Sunday. For $95 per person, At A Rake’s Progress, enjoy hot cross buns, glazed ham, wood-roasted mushrooms, and ember-grilled trout. The bar will also be serving special cocktails for the occasion, including the The Gingham, featuring gin and housemade strawberry basil syrup topped with a stenciled Easter egg pattern ($95 each). Meanwhile at Erik Bruner-Yang’s Brothers and Sisters, there’ll be a raw bar featuring oysters, shrimp, and yellowfin tuna, along with a carving station with steam buns highlighted by duck confit, whole cauliflower, and lamb shoulder seasoned with cumin and Szechuan peppercorns. ($65 each) And all weekend long, kids and adults should be on the lookout for Easter goodies from the hotel’s front steps up to the front desk. There are mugs from the hotel’s coffee bar, The Cup We All Race 4, cookies, homemade peeps, and gift certificates up for grabs.
Mansion on O Street

Explore this historical D.C. attraction this holiday with an Easter treasure hunt, offered all weekend long. You’ll search secret rooms for special Easter-themed items Once there, don your favorite Easter bonnet and search for special themed items all across the mansion. Everything in the mansion is for sale, so be sure to keep an eye out for anything special. (Thursday-Sunday, $35)
