Most Metro lines will be causing you some grief this weekend.

If you’re planning on braving the wind and rain this weekend, be careful how you choose to get out and about: most Metro lines are running slow, and a few stations will be closed.

On the Red Line, an emergency drill is closing the Tenleytown, Friendship Heights, and Bethesda stations until 2 p.m. on Sunday (this is Metro’s normal emergency drill, which they complete every quarter). On the Orange Line, track work and “aerial structure repairs” will close the Vienna and Dunn Loring stations this weekend. The transit agency will provide free shuttle buses to get between the closed stations, though it recommends customers budget 15 minutes between each closed stop.

The Blue and Silver lines are the slowest-running of the weekend, running every 20 minutes and every 12-16 minutes respectively. The Yellow Line will only be running up to Mount Vernon Square during daytime hours, as usual on the weekends.

And, blessedly, the Green Line is running normal service.

Here are all the specifics from WMATA:

Due to a quarterly emergency drill Sunday morning, Tenleytown, Friendship Heights and Bethesda will be closed until 2 p.m. Customers traveling through the closure should allow 15 minutes per station stop.
