The last of our beloved Bachelorette contestants from the D.C. areaJohn Paul Jones and Luke S.—were just cut from the dating show in its fifth week.

Fans of Bachelor Nation will remember Luke S. from his heated fights with Luke P.—this week’s show ended with a painfully-awkward debate between the two of them until Hannah, the Bachelorette, finally gets up and leaves. Luke S. accuses Luke P. of lying, and Luke P. says that Luke S. isn’t a good fit for Hannah. (Luke P. must not read DCist, or he’d know that Luke S. wanted Hannah to be the Bachelorette.) But in a shocking turn of events at the rose ceremony, Luke S. sends himself home.

DCist got the inside scoop on whether or not he’ll be returning to his former job as a part-time server at Stoney’s on P St., his future on other Bachelor-affiliated shows, and whether Stoney’s will keep hosting Bachelorette watch parties now that it’s over for the local talent.

According to Reese Edmonds, Stoney’s bar manager, Luke S. will in fact be returning to work at the Logan Circle establishment—but not until he finishes his Bachelorette duties, television interviews, and the like. “He’ll come back to the little people” afterwards, Edmonds said.

Edmonds also revealed that Luke S. has just finished filming Bachelor in Paradise. People have already been speculating that he would go on to star on the show, with Bustle boldly declaring him “the perfect candidate.” ABC declined to confirm or deny the news. “We never comment on casting rumor or speculation,” spokesperson Cathy Rehl wrote over email.

And if you’re counting on Stoney’s for your Bachelorette watch parties, don’t fret. Edmonds confirms that the bar will continue hosting them at the same time (every Monday from 7 to 10 p.m.). In the midst of the Luke drama, his employers also seem to have his back. Edmonds said “that other douche bag [Luke P.] was lying” about Luke S.

Despite the fact that Luke S. is short for Stone, Edmonds said that he is not related to the owner of Stoney’s. Indeed, the bar is not named after a person at all.
