Trains are running every 15-16 minutes on the Green Line this weekend. Workers are installing equipment to support cell service underground, which means means that there will be single-tracking between the Anacostia and Southern Avenue stations.
And of course, parts of the Blue and Yellow Lines are still closed for the summer. If you’re confused about the shutdown, or just want to know how to get to Metro stations south of National Airport, read more about it here.
But the rest of the system should be smooth sailing. Expect regular weekend service on the Red, Orange, and Silver lines.
