Happy start of a new week, DCist readers. Plenty of events on tap for this week including a final tour from a legendary performer, an interesting new one-man show, kitten yoga (!), and much more.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 9

FILIBUST’D: Crafted locally in the D.C. area (first in the District before moving across the river into Virginia), Filibuster bourbon will debut its newest batch on Monday evening at Calico. Dubbed the Single Estate, it’s a new straight bourbon whiskey that will join the existing ranks of the distiller’s whiskey, bourbon, and gin offerings. Additionally, special Filibuster-based cocktails will be on hand from Calico’s very own Ian Fletcher. (Calico, 5 p.m.-8 p.m., free entry with registration)

CRABBY: Those looking to soak in summer vibes for a few weeks longer will want to check out Quarterdeck’s Crab Fest in Arlington. The eighth annual event features $1 DC Brau drafts, $5 DC Brau pitchers, and $50 for all-you-can-eat whole crabs. Bring a full stomach and a crew of friends and get ready to go to town. ENVISION: Looking to set some new goals or check in with the ones you’ve already made for the year? Lululemon’s Georgetown location will offer a chance to join “an epic journey of discovery and goal-setting” with a Visions & Goals event. Take the chance to meditate and set yourself on a better path to reaching those goals—and help others around you do the same. (Lululemon Georgetown, 6 p.m.-8 p.m., FREE with registration)

IT’S CALLED FASHION: It’s a night of all things Karl Lagerfeld on Tuesday, with the screening of two documentaries about the fashion designer at the French Embassy. Journalist Loïc Prigent got unprecedented access to one of the industry’s most beloved creators, charting his complete career trajectory in the films Karl Lagerfeld Sketches His Life and The Balmain Style. WORK IT: Instagram fitfluencer Katie Austin will host a charity fitness event down at the Wharf’s Transit Pier, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the D.C. chapter of Best Buddies. With a combination of HIIT, toning, and yoga, be sure to bring a mat and get ready to sweat it out for a great cause. (Transit Pier, 6 p.m.-8 p.m., $12)

SMUGGLED: Set entirely inside a functional bar, Ronán Noone’s newest play, The Smuggler, details the story of Irish immigrant Tim Finnegan, who is a struggling writer on the island of Amity, relegated to slinging drinks to make his way. However, his fate changes when a mysterious stranger shows up with an offer that’ll change everything. Attendees will get an up close and personal look, as actor Rex Daugherty will perform the one man show, while actually making and serving drinks for those in the audience. (Eaton DC, 8:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m, $40).

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11

COMES ALIVE: Legendary rocker Peter Frampton is in the middle of what’s being hailed as his farewell tour, as he hits the stage at The Anthem on Wednesday evening. The performer made a name for himself with his fifth album, Frampton Comes Alive! (a record you probably heard your parents play at some point) which is one of the best-selling live albums of all time. Don’t miss out on what might be the last chance to see him. (The Anthem, 7:30 p.m., $76)

WINE COUNTRY: Heitz Cellar Wines has been hailed as one of Napa Valley’s best wineries, and on Wednesday evening, you’ll get a chance to taste their selections, without having to get on an airplane. Ris will host this tasting event, which promises a wide sampler of reds, whites, and even port along tasty treats like short rib sliders, hanger steak, and much more. (Ris, 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m., $40)

LAUGH IT UP: Those looking for a new spin on a traditional comedy show will want to check out Comedy Wars. Hosted at Exiles, three teams of three will battle for comedic supremacy, with the audience deciding the victor. Those who aren’t worthy? Well, the audience will get a chance to shame the third place finishers via some sort of humiliating method (silly string and Nerf balls have appeared in the past). And all proceeds of the tickets will go the MS Foundation. (Exiles Bar, 8 p.m.-10 p.m., $10)

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 12

BACK TO BLACK: On what would have been her 36th birthday, a band of musicians will pay tribute to the legendary Amy Winehouse with a show at the Hamilton. Led by former American Idol finalist Elise Testone, the backing band features artists who have performed alongside acts like Prince and Lauryn Hill; join the group as they celebrate one of our greatest talents gone far too soon. (The Hamilton Live, 7:30 p.m., $22)

YOU GOTTA BE KITTEN ME: We’ve featured a variety of different yoga events on this guide, but this one is likely to be absolutely adorable. The Animal Welfare League of Arlington will host a kitten yoga class, featuring plenty of fine feline friends to cuddle with throughout the event. Bring your own mat and help benefit one of Arlington’s leading animal programs. (Animal Welfare League of Arlington, 7:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m., $35)

DOWN, SET, HUT!: As part of their continuing History Happy Hour, the Willard InterContinental will turn its gaze to the early days of the National Football League. The talk is focused specifically on the contributions of the owners of the Bears, Eagles, Steelers, Giants, and Washington’s team, and how they pushed the league forward. Moderated as usual by veteran bartender Jim Hewes, the panel will also feature acclaimed sportswriter John Eisenberg, whose new book focuses on the efforts of those aforementioned owners. LAW AND ROLL: The fifth annual Law Rocks fundraiser returns to the 9:30 Club on Thursday evening for a night of fundraising for local nonprofits. Local bands—both old and new—led by local legal professionals will compete, battle of the bands style, for their charity of choice. (9:30 Club, 7 p.m., $35)
