GET OUTSIDE:Embrace the weather while you still can and explore Lee Ufan: Open Dimension, a massive outdoor installation of works by the Korean artist at the Hirshhorn. While the Ufan presentation remains on view through Sept. 13, 2020, you can also check it out after dark at Autumn Evenings this Friday. (Hirshhorn, 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m., FREE)

FUNNY FRIDAY: Mike Birbiglia’s done it all over his years in comedy, from feature films (Don’t Think Twice) to small-screen cameos (Orange is the New Black) to stage performances (Sleepwalk with Me). He brings his latest show, The New One, to D.C. from Broadway for a limited engagement ending this Sunday. (National Theatre, 8 p.m., $39-$204)

DRINK UP: ‘Tis the season for stein drinking.Oktoberfest continues across town this weekend with Wunder Garten’s 5th annual festivities. Come for the authentic German fare, stay for a set from DJ Lehi. (Wunder Garten, 3 p.m.-1 a.m., free entry)

ART STUFF: Find something new (that’s also handmade and ethically sourced) for fall at Washington City Paper’s 16th Crafty Arts & Makers Festival 2019. OINK: Megan Thee Stallion May have been the patron saint of this “Hot Girl Summer,” but Peppa the Pig dropped one of the season’s most anticipated debuts. Now every preschooler’s favorite pig brings the stage show Peppa Pig Live! Peppa’s Adventure to the Warner Theatre for two matinee performances. (Warner Theatre, 12 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., $33+)

THEATER FEATURE: This weekend kicks off the D.C. premiere of West by God. Written by West Virginia native Brandon McCoy and set in the Appalachia region of West Virginia, the play centers on two families grappling with grief and identity. The show runs through Oct. 20, at which point it will move onward to West Virginia for the first ever KeeganConnects tour, bringing the staging to its setting. (Keegan Theatre, 8 p.m., $41-$51)

GO GLOBAL: Turkish Heritage Month concludes with the American Turkish Association of Washington, DC’s 17th annual Turkish Festival. This year’s theme honors the heritage of the city of Antioch with authentic cuisine, music, folk dance, and arts and crafts. (Pennsylvania Ave between 12th and 14th Streets NW, 11 a.m.-7 p.m., FREE)

THE CLOSER: The Nationals scored a National League Wild Card slot earlier this week, but if you want to see the hometown team without paying postseason prices, Sunday’s your last chance. The regular season concludes at home against the Cleveland Indians with a Nationals puffy vest giveaway to first 20,000 fans. (Nationals Park, 3:05 p.m., $15+)

WORK IT: DC Fashion Week wraps up with the 31st International Couture Collections Showcase featuring spring-summer 2020 collections from designers from all over the world.
