The Fairmont Hotel in Georgetown will be transforming its garden into a German biergarten this October, featuring a grilling station and authentic German music. But get there early, only the first 30 guests will receive this edible jewelry.
Dacha Beer Garden
Every day through Oct. 6
Branding itself as D.C’s first real Oktoberfest celebration since prohibition, Dacha Beer Garden will be tapping a real oak barrel with a Festbier from the oldest brewery in the world—Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan—and you drink it from a boot mug at either their Navy Yard or Shaw location.
Wunder Garten
Multiple dates through Oct. 6
Pretend you’re in crisp fall air at this large NoMa beer garden. Wunder Garten’s fifth annual Oktoberfest celebration features a variety of different events over two weeks, including stein-sliding contests and live German band performances. Can’t leave your furry friend behind? Wunter Garten even has a “Dogtoberfest,” a special time welcome to pups.

Thursdays are just the pregame for Friday, right? For three Thursdays of October, Biergarten Haus, home of the largest patio on H Street NE, will be hosting stein-hoisting competitions. Prizes include gift cards and football game tickets.
