Metro had a rough start to the week, but there’s a light at the end of the tunnel (ha). Trains are expected to operate on their regular schedule this weekend, every 6-8 minutes on the Red Line and every 12-15 minutes on the others.

Also, if you have early plans Sunday morning, you’re in luck: Metro will open at 7 a.m. (an hour earlier than usual) for the Army Ten-Miler.

Additional Blue Line trains will run between Franconia-Springfield and Stadium-Armory from 7 a.m.-8:40 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.-12:50 p.m. to accommodate the large number of participants expected for the event.
