Nationals fans wait for trains to arrive at Navy Yard after a game on Oct. 15.

The Nationals will be back in town for the World Series this week, where they’ll face the Houston Astros. If you’ve got tickets, we’ve got you covered. Here’s how to get around and how much getting to the games will affect your wallet:

Parking And Street Closures

Parking is only guaranteed for fans who have full season tickets and a parking pass. Any leftover passes were offered to half-season plan holders. So, odds are, if you’re looking for parking now, you won’t be able to get it through official channels.

On the resale market, sites like StubHub are selling passes starting at $125 including fees.

Some roads will be closed.

Metro

Metro said about a quarter of Nats fans took the train home after the Wild Card game earlier this month, and those fans can still use Metro to and from the World Series games without worry. For out-of-towners who aren’t familiar with Metro pricing, the system fares run $2 to $6, depending on the time of day and distance you travel.

No track work is planned this weekend, and all lines are running regular service, which means Red Line trains will arrive every six to eight minutes. Trains on other lines will run every 12 to 15 minutes.

Closing times shouldn’t be an issue for Games 3 and 4 on Friday and Saturday, as the system closes at 1 a.m. on those nights. Playoff games run about three and a half hours and should end around 11:30 p.m. or midnight.

If Sunday’s Game 5 is needed, Metro said it will stay open for fans, despite a usual closing time of 11 p.m.

Metro said any fan in line to enter Navy Yard-Ballpark station 20 minutes after the end of the game will get home.

Navy Yard-Ballpark Station will be the only station where customers can enter the system if the game runs past 11 p.m. All other stations will be exit only.

This is different from past playoff games when Metro made either the teams or other private entities pay $100,000 per extra hour of service as a deposit. Sponsors got back any fare money made during that hour.

This fall, Metro leaders said they will refine agency policies for when it will provide extra service for “events with regional significance,” like playoff games.

Circulator

The D.C. Circulator route from L’Enfant to Eastern Market will run until 1 a.m.

Biking

Nationals Park has a free bike valet in Garage C near 1st and N Street SE. Access to the valet is on First Street just left of the vehicle entrance.

The valet accepts bikes two hours before game time and closes an hour after the last out.

Capital Bikeshare will open bike corrals for unlimited Bikeshare parking at its 1st and N Street SE.

Water Taxi

A water taxi from Old Town Alexandria to Nationals Park will run you about $37 round-trip.

The water taxi departs Old Town at 6 and 6:15 p.m. and leaves from the Diamond Teague Park on the first-base side of Nationals Park 20 minutes after the last pitch.

MARC Train

The MARC commuter trains on the Penn-Washington line will run special service for all three games. Trains will leave Washington’s Union Station one hour after the final out, no matter when the game ends.

Trains will make all stops between Washington and Baltimore Penn Station.

Regular MARC Train fares will apply and all passengers must have a valid ticket to ride. Monthly and weekly passes will be honored.

On Sunday, in the event of an extremely long Game 5, the Nationals World Series Special will depart Union Station no later than 3 a.m. so MARC can run a full rush-hour train service Monday morning.

If the World Series ends in either game 4 or 5, the train will depart Washington one hour after the end of the trophy presentation ceremony.
