Boundary Stone’s long-standing pre-Thanksgiving tradition of watching rock and roll documentary The Last Waltz continues the night before Thanksgiving. The show starts at 9 p.m.

Hawthorne

A good spot to meet up with high school friends, Hawthorne will be open until 4 a.m. with no cover charge. The first 50 people to RSVP here will get a free hour of open bar from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. on all four floors.

Here’s a reason not to leave early: If your tab is still open after 9:30 p.m. at the bar at any Matchbox location in the D.C. area, you’ll get a free pizza.

Mon Ami Gabi

Mon Ami Gabi’s happy hour menu will feature its signature dishes for half price the night before Thanksgiving. Think $5 French onion soup, $6 half-mussels, and half-off house wines by the glass and bottle.

Ornery Beer Company
3950 University Dr., Fairfax, Va. 

Head out to this Fairfax bar for a 70s-to-today dance party from 9 p.m. to midnight. Appetizers will be half-price starting at 8 p.m. Crowler and growler fills will be $8 and $12 respectively all day.

Port City Brewing Co.
3950 Wheeler Ave., Alexandria, Va. 

Port City Brewing Co. will be celebrating “Drinksgiving” with its Great American Beer Festival’s gold medal winner: German Pilsner. And for the first time, you can enjoy Port City’s Double IPA, Maniacal, in cans. Maniacal will also be available in four-packs and German Pilsner will be available in crowler and growler fills to-go. Food trucks will also be on site.

Stella Barra Pizzeria
11825 Grand Park Ave., North Bethesda, Md. 

Chill out the night before Thanksgiving with family at Stella Barra Pizzeria for happy hour. Kids will get a chance to make their own pizzas with the chefs as adults sip on $3 beers, $4 wines, and $5 cocktails. Happy hour is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

7 Locks Brewing
12227 Wilkins Ave., Rockville, Md. 

7 Locks Brewing is celebrating its fourth birthday the night before Thanksgiving with the release of four beers: Belgian Quad, Sahti, Quad IPA, and B-day Sour. There will be live music until 10 p.m., pizza by BricknFire Pizza Company, and a free slice of birthday cake.

American Son’s family-style offering is a three-course meal that includes: turkey, crab bisque, carrots, and pecan pie. It’s $45 a person.

Blue Duck Tavern

Blue Duck Tavern’s Thanksgiving menu is a “brunch into dinner” feast, for $135 a person. Running from noon until 8 p.m., the three-course feast will include seafood, salads, cheese and charcuterie, braised short rib, and more. Children eat for $55.

BLT Steak
1625 I St. NW

BLT Steak will be offering an $82 per person Thanksgiving menu from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. that will include kabocha squash risotto, spinach salad, turkey, cod, and the usual suspects: mashed potatoes and veggies. Kids will be able to eat for $40 each.

Brasserie Liberte
3251 Prospect St. NW

This all-new Georgetown restaurant is serving a three-course Thanksgiving meal for $45 per person from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The meal will include butternut squash soup, herb-roasted turkey, and classic pumpkin pie.

City Tap Penn Quarter & City Tap Dupont
901 9th St. NW & 1250 Connecticut Ave. NW

Both City Tap locations will be serving $30, three-course Thanksgiving meals that include butternut squash soup, turkey, apple stuffing, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie cheesecake. Kids eat for $15. Spiked apple cider and mulled wine will be available for $10 a glass.

Le Diplomate
1601 14th St. NW

If you want to start your Thanksgiving meal early and with a French twist, Le Diplomate opens up at 9:30 a.m. with brunch, including the restaurant’s signature lobster omelette. Then, Le Diplomate’s $56 prix-fixe starts at noon, featuring candied yams, roasted brussel sprouts, and roasted turkey breast.

Legal Sea Foods

Don’t completely despair if you get stuck in Ronald Reagan airport or Union Station on Thanksgiving Day. All of Legal Sea Foods’ D.C. locations, including at the train station and the airport, are offering a $24.95 Thanksgiving dinner with turkey, mashed potatoes, squash, gravy and cranberry sauce.

Lupo Verde
1401 T St. NW

You can either choose from Lupo Verde’s a la carte Thanksgiving menu or opt for its $85 per person, three-course meal. The meal includes stuffed mushrooms, pork belly, gnocchi, and, of course, turkey. That same week, Lupo Verde is launching its “Lasagna Week,” which will fall on the last week of each month, starting in November. For $23 each, you can dine on a rotating menu of meat, vegetarian and cheesy, lasagna entrees. The specials will change monthly.

Modena

For $60 per person, you can get a Thanksgiving dinner with an “Italian twist” at Modena. The menu will feature black pepper cavatelli, panna cotta, and red bourbon turkey.

Nina May

Shaw’s newly-opened New American restaurant is serving up its regular menu of turkey day from 2 p.m.-8 p.m., along with a selection of Thanksgiving dishes. Order them a la carte or as a $45 Family Meal.

Oceanaire

If you want a Thanksgiving dinner with no frills, Oceanaire is offering turkey along with roasted brussel sprouts, maple glazed sweet potatoes, and beans for $40 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. You can also order from their regular a la carte menu.

Olivia

Olivia’s $50 per person Thanksgiving menu comes with a Mediterrean twist. The three-course meal includes green chickpea falafel, Moroccan harira squash soup, and crispy turkey tagine.

Seven Reasons
2208 14th St. NW

Esquire’s newly crowned best new restaurant in America is opening its doors on Thanksgiving with a special turkey day menu. Think turkey leg with shiitake mushroom gravy, crispy Brussels sprouts, pureed sweet potatoes, and more. The restaurant’s regular menu will also be available. Parties of two can book for 2.15 hours; groups of four or more will get the table for three hours. Reservations are available through Resy.

Succotash

At Penn Quarter’s Succotash, get a three-course thanksgiving meal for $65 a piece, while kids eat for $32.50 each. The meal begins with small plates, including bibb salad, deviled eggs, and cornbread, before moving onto to turkey, ham, cranberry-ginger sauce, and more. Vegetarian options will also be available.

Teddy & the Bully Bar

This multi-course Thanksgiving dinner at Teddy & the Bully Bar comes with cornbread for the table, mac and cheese, roasted turkey, lobster beignet, eggnog creme brulee and more. It’s $60 for adults and $23 for kids. The best part? Sides are unlimited.

The Bombay Club
815 Connecticut Ave. NW

If you don’t want to go full traditional Thanksgiving, head to the Bombay Club. In addition to its regular menu, the Indian restaurant will be offering some holiday-themed specials, including sweet potato chaat ($8) and pumpkin cheesecake ($9).

Via Sophia at the Hamilton Hotel

If you have $95 a person to drop, the Hamilton Hotel’s Via Sophia is serving a Thanksgiving menu from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. There will be foie gras to start, followed by a pasta dish, before a traditional entree of turkey, and finished with a choice of tiramisu, pie, or chocolate budino.

BLT’s holiday meal package can serve either 4-6 people (the immediate family) for $250 or 8-12 (the extended family) for $450 and is available on Thanksgiving morning. You can order your pick-up until Nov. 18.

Carmine’s 
425 7th St. NW

For $249, you can walk away from Carmine’s with an 18-pound roast turkey, brussel sprouts, baby carrots, sauteed string beans, sweet potatoes with marshmallow, and mashed potatoes with gravy. You can add an apple or pumpkin pie for an additional $20. The entire package feeds 6-8 people.

Centrolina
974 Palmer Alley NW

If you have picky eaters, Centrolina’s Thanksgiving catering menu may be the way to go. Items, including meals and sides, are priced separately, so you can pick and choose how to build your meal. For example, a seasoned, oven-ready turkey is $8 per pound, which you can pair with mashed potatoes ($32), spiced cranberry jam ($18), or other sides. Desserts include $30-$40 housemade apple, pumpkin, pecan and coconut cream pies. Orders must be placed by Nov. 24 and picked up on Nov. 27.

Convivial

For $45 a person, you can pick up a to-go package with turkey, chestnut stuffing, mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, yams, gravy, cranberry sauce, and a choice of a pie slice from Convivial. Gravitas

If you’re feeding a smaller group (4-6 people), Gravitas is offering numerous Thanksgiving packages. Their classic Thanksgiving dinner is $185, which comes with turkey, a choice of two sides, a choice of salad or soup, sauce, bread, and one dessert. However, if you want double the offerings, you can choose the baller Thanksgiving package for $350. Additional entrees, sides, and desserts are also priced separately.

Lupo Verde Osteria

Through Nov. 21, you can put in an order for Lupo Verde Osteria’s $195 Thanksgiving package. It comes with a 15-18 pound turkey, mac and cheese, braised kale, cranberry sauce, and an apple pie. For $30, Brookland’s Finest will provide you with chocolate pecan pie, sweet potato pie, chocolate cream pie, apple pie, or cheesecake with an Oreo crust. All orders must be placed by Nov. 23 in time for Thanksgiving, but the good news is that this deal lasts all holiday season.

RARE Steakhouse & Tavern

RARE Steakhouse & Tavern is offering $25 pies, including blood orange pecan, dulce de pumpkin, and chocolate silk. Pies will serve up to 8 people and can be picked up from Nov. 25-28. Orders must be placed 72 hours in advance.

Fare Well & Sticky Fingers

To the vegans this Thanksgiving, don’t worry. Sticky Fingers and Fare Well will be providing a variety of vegan desserts, including: pumpkin pie, sweet potato maple cupcakes, apple pie, cooking tins and more. Prices range from $24 to $44.

Osteria Morini & Brew’d Coffee Bar

You can pre-order pies all November from Osteria Morini and Brew’d Coffee Bar. Pies, which include pumpkin pie and caramel nut tart, are $30. You can also get $12 chocolate bark as well as a half dozen of assorted cookies and brownies for $32.

Bring something special to your Thanksgiving dinner: your very own pie. Baked & Wired will be hosting a pie-making class with its founder on Saturday, Nov. 16 for $125. You’ll get to bring home your own pie and also a new recipe.

Cherry at the W Washington Hotel will be giving back with Friendsgiving on Nov. 21. The meal, for $65 per person, will include baked brie, sweet potato pie, and buttermilk whipped mashed potatoes. A portion of the proceeds go to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

This Petworth spot is joining forces with A League of Her Own on Sunday, Nov. 24 for Friendsgiving brunch. There will be brunch food, an ice luge, drink specials, and a guest DJ.

From Nov. 22-27, enjoy a classic Thanksgiving menu with your friends at Nicoletta Italian Kitchen. For $35 a person, get roasted turkey, whipped potatoes, and beans, among other offerings. Dessert is an extra $5 and bottles of house wine are $25.

Instead of hosting Friendsgiving at someone’s place, skip the dishes and try out Pop’s Searbar’s Thanksgiving special, which is available all month. For $25, you can get a turkey patty with stuffing topped with cranberry sauce, sweet potato fries, and one Hellbender Redline Ale. It also comes with beer-battered granny smith apples with caramel ice cream and a cup of hot apple cider.
