New Year’s Eve marks one of the final times to head to Georgetown’s Gypsy Sally’s (which closes with three sold-out nights of music from John Kadlecick later this week). In 1977, guitarist Junior Marvin joined Bob Marley in The Wailers, the reggae icon’s backing band, for the album Exodus. Legendary rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony has been recording as a duo on recent albums—Krayzie Bone and Bizzy Bone released New Waves as just Bone Thugs in 2017—and has been touring as a quartet (with Bizzy Bone now focusing on a solo career). Wish Bone, Layzie Bone, Krayzie Bone, and Flesh-N-Bone will perform such hits as “Thuggish Ruggish Bone” and “Tha Crossroads” at the Fillmore Silver Spring. 8 p.m. doors. 9 p.m. show. $30.

Richmond’s Audacity Brass Band captures the spirit and feel of a funky New Orleans brass act. Corcorn Holt started playing djembe at 4 but switched to upright bass at 10, studying with the DC Youth Orchestra Program.
