MPD previously closed streets ahead of last weekend’s massive protests, which drew an estimated tens of thousands of participants on Saturday.

A number of local groups already have announced plans for demonstrations this weekend, including a vigil in Northeast D.C. on Friday night, and a D.C. Pride2020 march and caravan organized by local activists on Saturday afternoon.
