It’s no surprise that the holidays, Thanksgiving included, will look a little different this year than they have in the past. But local businesses are rising to meet the moment: Whether you’re looking for takeout feasts or safe dine-in options, restaurants in the region are making sure you can still celebrate. Choose from more traditional Thanksgiving staples, go all-vegan or find fresh takes on classic dishes.

Federalist Pig
Although the D.C. staple is already sold out of whole smoked turkeys, customers in the region can still order from Federalist Pig’s festive menu in November. Its à la carte smoked meat options and sides — like candied sweet potatoes with a gingersnap crusts or Texas Toast stuffing — are still available to order. Like many D.C. residents, we’re staying tuned to see if their whole turkey options open back up again.
