MONDAY, NOVEMBER 16

TURKEY HUNT: For many, Thanksgiving’s going to look different this year. Take a break from it all and go on the Give Thanks Hunt at The Mansion on O. Search for hidden gems through the 100 rooms and 80 secret doors (the average visitor only discovers two or three) and see what can be discovered. Masks and social distancing are required (11 a.m.-3 p.m., $35)

ART FOR YOUR EYES: We’re all clocking a lot of screen time right now, and the folks at the Hirshhorn have got a treat for our eyeballs. While the museum is still closed to visitors, there’s a new online show, In the Beginning: Media Art and History, suited specifically for screens. Just click through to explore how artists use technology and format to imagine history. (Ongoing, FREE)

BOTTOMS UP: It’s D.C. Cocktail Week, which means it’s time to enjoy food and drink pairings at participating establishments all around the D.C. area. For example, pair an Aperol spritz pouch with gorgonzola and bacon arancini at All-Purpose Pizzeria or a Rose Hips Don’t Lie cocktail paired with the Asian tuna appetizer at King Street Oyster Bar. Virtual events abound as well, including Monday’s What’s In Your Home Bar? Secrets of Great At-Home Cocktails where chef Peter Prime and Campari Group’s Duane Sylvestre are talking mixed drinks. (Through Sunday, prices vary)
