PROFITEROLE PRACTICE: ’Tis the season for sweets, and this class from Ice Cream Jubilee can help up your dessert game. It’s a year-long digital embassy-curated marketplace, offering goods like handmade hats from Madagascar and alpaca wool wraps from Peru. Last week, D.C. LIGHT IT UP: Light Yards is back for its fifth year, this time with “Stars,” an immersive light design installation from Australian-based sculptors Amigo & Amigo. SNOWY WONDERLAND: Even if the District gets little snow this week, one can still enjoy Imagination Stage’s The Snow Queen from home. The 25-minute live, interactive story adapts Hans Christian Andersen’s famous winter fairy tale for the whole family to enjoy. (5 p.m., $29)
