COZY AT THE RESORT: Embrace winter with the help of private cabins and boozy hot chocolate at Wunder Garten’s annual Après Ski 2021. THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 18

100 YEARS: Celebrate the 100th birthday of one of the most beautiful carousels in the D.C. area at Glen Echo Park. Thursday’s live virtual launch event includes Emcee Liz Dapo and special messages from Sen. Chris VanHollen, Rep. Jamie Raskin and others. The event will kick off a month-long celebration that includes virtual history lectures, short films, summer family events, social media contests, and more. (12:30 p.m., FREE)

PHOTOGRAPHER’S PERSPECTIVE: Spend an evening with D.C. political photographers Sharon Farmer, George Tolbert, and Bonita Bing for a virtual discussion from the D.C. Public Library.
