FRIDAY MARCH 26
MOVES & GROOVES: I (virtually) burn for you. On Friday, join Dumbarton House for a Bridgerton-themed event. The virtual programming includes lessons on the Regency Period, the history of dance, and the moves you need to keep up with the Duke the next time you rewatch the Netflix hit series. (8 p.m.; $10-$12)
ANIME: Starting on Friday, T-Mobile and AwesomeCon are teaming up to host a 13-movie series of Anime Movie Days at The Wharf. The outdoor series kicks off with a viewing of Tokyo Godfathers on Friday and ends with Cowboy Bebop the Movie on April 11. Each reservation covers up to four adults at one socially distant seating area. (970 Wharf Street SW; 6 p.m.; $40)
EXHIBIT: Start your weekend by catching the new exhibit at Morton Fine Art Gallery on O Street NW. The show, The Moon is Always Full, works “through questions of the Black American experience” in multimedia works, including sewing and quilting. The exhibition opens on Thursday and is available for viewing through April 22. Shows are by appointment only and masks are required. (Morton Fine Art Gallery; FREE)
COCKTAILS & CHERRY BLOSSOMS: You deserve a break. Head to NoMa to celebrate Cherry Fest, a seasonal event from Wunder Garten that celebrates the District’s favorite season … in drink form. The beer garden’s lineup includes eight cherry-infused cocktails (and a locally brewed beer from Red Bear) to mark the blooming season. (Wunder Garten; open 3 p.m.-12 a.m.; a la carte)

SATURDAY MARCH 27
CELEBRATING WOMEN: The National Portrait Gallery may still be closed for in-person exploration, but that doesn’t mean its exhibits are closed to the public. On Saturday, join the Smithsonian museum for a Zoom-based celebration focusing on women “in sports, arts, science, and activism.” Attendance is free, registration is required. (11 a.m.; FREE)
3321 BISTRO: Anytime is lunchtime if you believe. This weekend, head to Cleveland Park to try Jury Meneses’ new Latin American And Caribbean spot, 3321 Bistro. The menu features a patacon burger (with fried plantains as the bun) and chicken Milanesa. Indoor seating is currently limited, but takeout and delivery options are available. (3321 Bistro; 11 a.m.-10 p.m.)
SONGBYRD: Spend your night out by staying in — and support local music venues without leaving your couch. On Saturday, Adams Morgan’s Songbyrd and live streaming service Noonchorus are hosting a concert with post-punk/indie-rock band Deeper. The show is available for streaming through March 29. (8 p.m.; $15)

SUNDAY MARCH 28
AT-HOME CONCERT: Sit back, relax, and tune into the National Philharmonic at the Strathmore. On Sunday, experience the Strathmore’s latest concert, Music That Renews: American Roots. The event will feature a range of compositions, including indigenous composer Jerod Impichchaachaaha’ Tate’s Pisachi. (2 p.m.; FREE)
MAGNOLIAS: You’ve heard of March Madness … well, welcome to Magnolia Madness. Experience the Smithsonian Gardens’ collection of blooming magnolias through their new self-guided tour. Floral enthusiasts can choose to take the tour in-person over the Smithsonian’s 40-acre grounds or travel through exhibits virtually from home. (FREE)
SHOP LOCAL: Celebrate cherry blossom season and support your favorite local businesses, all at the same time. This weekend, purchase the latest blossom-themed items from Shop Made in DC either online or in their Dupont, Georgetown, The Wharf, or Pennsylvania Avenue locations. Featured items include cherry blossom candy bark from the Capital Candy Bar, loofah soaps from Habeebah’s Herbals, and candles from Wellness Apothecary. (various locations and prices)
