PRIDE LIBRARY: Join the Library of Congress’ LGBTQ+ Studies librarian and specialist Meg Metcalf for a talk on all the LGBTQ+ history and collections at the library. Metcalf will provide an overview of what’s available in reading rooms and the rare holdings of the library. (6 p.m., FREE)

VIRTUAL WORKOUT: Still working out at home? Join Free to Move founder AK MacKeller for a virtual strength class on the Outdoor Voices’ Instagram page, suitable for all fitness levels. No equipment needed, and there will be modifications for those who need it. (1 p.m., FREE)

PODCAST GUIDE: Looking to start a podcast? Join NPR and Politics and Prose Bookstore for a virtual event celebrating the release of the NPR’s Podcast Start Up Guide. Author Glen Weldon will talk about what it takes to make a podcast that stands out from the rest, share some tips that you won’t find in the book, and answer audience questions. SUPPER CLUB: Enjoy a six course meal from chefs Erik Bruner-Yang and Armani Johnson from ABC Pony at their Something Fun Supper Club this week. CODE SWITCHING: Tune in for a virtual talk from the Planet Word Museum all about code-switching. This interactive conversation will explore a variety of socio-cultural contexts and the ways people use language to navigate multiple worlds. (11 a.m., FREE)

SAFE SPACES: Pride may be ending, but the National Landing BID is hosting this virtual Equity in Action event to address the importance of the business community creating and defending safe LGBTQ+ spaces beyond Pride month. The event will be filmed at Freddie’s Beach Bar, and even include an appearance from the owner during a Q&A. (3 p.m., FREE)

FOOD CLASSES: Join James Beard Award-winning historian Michael Twitty on a three-part tour through the meaning of global Jewish food. Sessions will include examinations of the debate on who “owns” falafel, how gefilte fish became a thing worthy of mystical thought, and a virtual potluck to finish it all out.
