POP UP: Ecuadorian Independence Day is on Tuesday, and a new pop up is headed to Shopkeepers to celebrate. At the Achiote pop up, expect dishes including llapingachos (potato cake with lettuce, lime, onions, and peanut sauce), cheesy yucca bread, and more. The event continues Tuesday, and will donate $1 per dish sold to support COVID-19 relief in Ecuador. (Shopkeepers, 11 a.m., free admission)
MOVIE NIGHT: Check out the last movie in the Adams Morgan outdoor film series. Continuing the theme of films that were filmed in D.C., this week’s title is All The President’s Men. MUSEUM TOUR: The National Museum of Women in the Arts’ building is now closed for a two-year renovation, but you can still enjoy collection highlights in this docent-led virtual talk.
