On Super Bowl Sunday this year, some transplanted Washingtonians will have a chance to tout their Los Angeles or Cincinnati street cred. No matter who you’re rooting for, here are some options for places to watch the game with other football fans — it won’t be just another night at the bar.

Mt. Vernon Square’s Calico will host a free viewing party (reservations suggested) starting at 2 p.m. at its heated outdoor backyard and indoor bar. The bar, which purchased flat-screen TVs for the occasion, will serve day-only grilled burger and hot dog specials, in addition to drink deals like $10 Miller High Life and bourbon boilermakers.
Jack Rose Dining Saloon

Head to Adams Morgan for an all-you-can-eat, all-you-can-drink wing, beer and hot spiced cider party at Jack Rose Dining Saloon’s heated, weather-proof rooftop. Unlimited wings come in five flavors, and you can try all of them while watching the game on four jumbo screens. Tickets can be reserved here for $75 per person.

More of a sweet tooth than a chicken wing aficionado? Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken has football-shaped vanilla cream doughnuts with a chocolate glaze available for pre-order and walk-in purchase at their D.C. locations on Super Bowl Sunday.

Ghostburger’s Northeast pop-up has a $65 deal for four double burgers in two different styles, fries, carnitas nachos, and chocolate chip brown butter cookies for order to go. Union Market pickup.
