BLOOMS IN BLOOM: Peak bloom for the famous cherry blossoms is nearly upon us, but until then, there’s always Artechouse’s annual exhibit dedicated to the pink blossoms. Their latest immersive exhibit takes visitors on a 22-minute immersive experience that surrounds you with the flowers’ textures, colors, and soft pink vibes. (Artechouse, through June 5, $25-$35)
CRYING OVER SPILLED ART: The title card of Dany Green’s website tells this D.C. artist’s whole mission statement: “I break things and put them together again.” She creates mosaic art from glass shards, building new pieces from the remnants of old ones. At a virtual DC Public Library talk this week, Green will discuss the past decade of her career — and maybe inspire you to break and make your own art, too. (6:30 p.m., FREE)

BLOSSOM WALK: And if you want to see some real blooms, start cherry blossom season with a happy hour and walking tour from Historic America Tours. Meet at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial and embark on a multi-sensory history tour around the tidal basin before soaking in the sunset during a guided rum tasting at Tiki TNT.
