NEW EXHIBIT: Experience the latest addition to the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden: Kara Walker’s “The Katastwóf Karavan.” Walker’s sculpture parade wagon, which is meant as a temporary memorial for an enslaved holding area, holds a steam calliope, an instrument that plays by forcing steam through pipes.
