PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT: The Friendship Heights Alliance is turning the first floor of the Chevy Chase Pavilion transformed into a photo gallery of Ellis Island. “The Echoes of Ellis Island” is a collection of work from Jarob Ortiz, a large format photographer for the National Park Service who created these images from as part of a Historic American Buildings Survey project to highlight the island. FORAGING AND TASTING: This foraging tour and tasting hosted by forager and food writer April Thompson features D.C. cidery ANXO.
