This weekend we’re back to our regularly scheduled Metro…delays. Surprisingly, however, some lines are actually running faster than usual. But overall, we know the drill; strap in for some slow rides this weekend.
Single tracking continues this week, slowing down Red line trains, which will run every 16 minutes. Green and Yellow lines are a bit faster this week despite single tracking, but still running only every 18 minutes. In addition, five Orange line Metro stations will remain closed through Sept. 5. The Blue and Silver lines still have interruptions between Stadium-Armory and Benning Road with, of course, free shuttles available.
