The same Metro lines seeing delays last weekend will be delayed. Riders should watch out for the Yellow. Orange, Green, and Red lines this weekend.

The end of the summer countdown has begun. Kids are returning to school, and you’ve got just a couple more things to cross off that summer bucket list. Maybe it’s taking a drunken (but safe, for the love of God) swing at one of D.C.’s golf bars or maybe catching up with two-years and-a-week-old panda, Xiao Qi Ji, at the National Zoo.

Whatever your plans, possible Metro delays are the same as last weekend.

The Yellow Line is still operating only between Huntington and Reagan National Airport, so riders must use the Blue Line to continue their trips. The Orange Line Platform Improvement project is in almost completed, but for now, five platforms continue to be closed through Sept. 5. Free shuttle buses are available between those stops.

The Red Line will have single-tracking due to crosstie renewal, while single-tracking on the Green Line is due to prep work at  L’Enfant Plaza for the Yellow Line Tunnel and Bridge Rehabilitation Project.
